BREAKING NEWS!
A generous donor has pledged to match every donation we receive between now and March 15, 2018, up to $10,000. That would retire our debt and enable us to start saving for the down payment for another batch of Bibles. Currently there are over 1,000 inmates on the Bible waiting list.

MINISTRY UPDATE
We are so grateful that there are men and women at all levels of the prison system who have a desire to know God. The Bible is the only standard by which we can truly know Him and His plan for this earth. Since 2009 Binding Broken Hearts has provided 12,484 Bibles to inmates. Every month we mail an average of 4,500 letters to inmates in 634 facilities in 411 states. We have even been contacted to write to an inmate in Canada.
To date, we have also mailed 171,427 letters to inmates who receive Bible study lessons with their letters. We have also provided 951 Knowing Jesus lesson study books, 488 The Value of One devotional book, and 403 The Power of the Word devotional books. Our newest lesson study book, Praise Him, became available last month, and so far we have sent out 59 of those. The hunger for God’s word is real and lives are being changed as they come in contact with Jesus through His Word.
We do need your help with prayers for the inmates that God’s light will shine in the darkness of their lives. We also need financial assistance. There is still a $21,000 debt from the purchase and shipping of the 5,000 Bibles we sent out in 2017. Until we can get that debt paid we are unable to purchase more Bibles. Currently there are over 1,000 inmates on the waiting list.
LETTER FROM AN INMATE
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I have been thinking a lot about you guys the past 3 days, constantly. Panic slightly brushed me, I was wondering if I were going to hear from you and I needed so much to hear from you. a great deal has happened since I last received a letter from you. The devil has been so busy here, evil is ever present and it’s just been one thing after another. But, no matter what is going on around me I stand in my holly place and God protects me while the storms are raging.
Besides all the foolish going on, I lost my older brother and then a month later my mother went on to be with the Lord. March of 2016 I had a near death experience, was hospitalized for 5 months. Had it not been for the Lord on my side I definitely wouldn’t be here today. For the entire year of 2017 I have been faced with some very trying and hard times, but no matter what I go through I am going to continue to serve God. No matter what the devil throws at me I’m going to continue to serve my God.
My faithfulness toward Him has caused me to have favor with God. There has been some pretty tough times for me, but God has been blessing me in the midst of them. I’m getting stronger and stronger each day. I don’t know what He is preparing me for, but I know that whatever it is, it’s working out for my good.
They buried my mother, but they didn’t bury my memories of her. Your letter couldn’t have arrived at a better time, thank you. I would have gotten it a few days sooner, but I was transferred. To have it even now has blessed me.
I am thankful for God’s blessings, His grace and mercy and His faithfulness toward us. I love the Joseph story. What was meant for his bad, God blessed him with so much.
Our God is so awesome and worthy to be praised. I was so lost without Him. It’s so easy to be blinded by the things of this world, and, without proper guidance you get lost deeper and deeper into the grip of the devil’s pit. Chacing after other gods, all the wrong gods! But I thank my God for opening my eyes and renewing my mind with His word.
I pray that God bless you and your family abundantly, for He has blessed me with you and you have blessed me tremendously.
